Haha I'm in Ottawa and I've made last minute MSG decisions more than once, the morning of 12/28/16 I decided to drive down for the show and surprised my friends mid-set I when I was supposed to be flying in the next day.
Does your friend call them bisco? I have one friend who's amega biscuits fan who objects whenever someone uses that word to refer to the band and not the festival, and I think he's the only person I've met who's heard of tdb and doesn't call them bisco.
Nah he just calls em the biscuits. I have a few obnoxious friends that have like, made that terribly inconsistent band their entire personalities which I just do not get. I don't think I could ever see myself endearingly referring to any band as "the boys". I mean yeah I've seen em 30+ times but I do other things too? I haven't been to Bisco since they moved it from ILCC though, not sure my feelings on Montage as a whole. ILCC was filthy and I loved every bit of it.
Coming up to the last Tweeprise soon, might try to revisit another show I don't entirely remember this morning.
OoOo great YouTube channel, lots of good stuff on there, thx!
The UC Berkeley expert I spoke with described your approach to boarding -- posting things without knowing whether they’re true in order to juice engagement -- as “sociopathic.” Do you have a response to that?
I tried to watch the 6/23/00 Gin and I found myself mostly judging folks for not demonstrating for me via bodily movements their enjoyment for one of the most incredible type 1 jams I can think of (it’s the fraternal twin of the equally brilliant 6/28/00 Gin)
except the person with the dark hair RAGING IT right in front of the camera, that ruled

honestly I just know the Gin from this night and the Moma and Tweezer from the next night, I’ve never listened to either Lakewood 00 show in full
those are all complete ragers though
